$NXI: Core Utilities

Powering the entire NXI ecosystem and beyond.

• User Spend in All Titles and IPs: Players can use $NXI for purchasing in-game currencies at a discount. Key spend mechanics include premium game asset sales, rotational in-game stores, asset upgrading, season passes, boosts, competitive tournament entry passes, and more.

• Publishing & Infrastructure Utilities and Revenue: Shared protocol revenues from NXI Build, and additional utility and governance value. Users must hold $NXI in order to gain access to the NXI Build platform, where they can stake $NXI in escrow to vote on products, and receive ongoing protocol revenues in perpetuity.

• Gamified Staking: Unique, gamified staking systems are designed to incentivise long-term holding and ecosystem engagement. Rewards include discounted or free game currencies, exclusive content, gated access to events, access to additional metagames with variable weekly rewards, social clan upgrades and perks, early access to sale events, benefits in partnered ecosystems, and APR rewards.

• Marketplaces and Secondary Asset Trading: Users can use $NXI to purchase assets on secondary marketplaces such as OpenSea, as well as NXI’s platform native marketplace, with additional incentives for using $NXI as the purchase currency.

• Partnered Ecosystems: NXI has a number of industry-leading partners. $NXI holders enjoy perks in partnered ecosystems, such as token airdrops, early access to asset sales, exclusive events, and more.

• Governance: Governance voting will be accessed through staking $NXI tokens, with voting power as a weighted function of the amount of staked tokens a holder has, gradually decentralising governance to $NXI holders over time. Governance votes will have different purposes, one of the most significant and immediate use cases will be in determining prospective products to be published.
